Oh The Burn......

Whew!!!!  My legs are k-i-l-l-i-n-g me!!!  Those squats that we did yesterday at the gym really have me walking like a baby this morning.  The strange thing is that I like this "burning" feeling though.  Hahahahaha!!  Call me crazy, but since I know it is so called "good" pain, I like it.
I did cardio this morning by way of the elliptical and the treadmill.  I walked and ran on the treadmill.  I really want to run\walk a 5k.  I guess I just need to find one and sign up for it.  I'm holding back because I'm afraid.  I also did some weights for my legs and arms this morning.  I want to try to get as much in as I can since summer is fast approaching.  Missed my Weight Watcher's meeting last night.  Trying to get my eating back on track.

Changing Things Up A Bit

Change.....not always an easy thing. Sometimes its necessary though.
I am at a standstill with the weight loss and the exercising.  I overslept yesterday and took my good old time getting ready. So, you know what that meant.....no gym for me.  I wasn't even upset because I really did not feel like going anyway.  I need to shock my body to get things moving again.  So, my friend was in the gym this morning working out with the trainer and to my surprise and delight, she asked if I wanted to join them.  Heck Yes!!!! We did step with weights and squats with weights.  My legs were BURNING!!!  This was a good change of pace for me.  I thanked them and let them carry on (I didn't want to overstay my welcome) and then I proceeded to ride the bike, run a little on the treadmill and do some more weights.
I am once again feeling motivated.  Change.....might be something that is good for me.  :-)
